Old Willowbank is a South Davis neighborhood with larger homes on palatial parcels of land. It is close to El Marcero Country Club and bisected by Interstate 80, allowing easy access for those commuting to Sacramento. The community harkens to a simpler time. Many of the homes here were built in the 1940s and were designed to accommodate agricultural students from UC Davis, who were able to tend to crops and livestock at home.
Residents enjoy bike paths that follow Putah Creek to downtown Davis. Walking bridges, nature trails, and parks are plentiful and shopping is just a few minutes away. Old Willowbank is known for large and mature trees located throughout the community while the homes are eclectic in design with very large, shady lots.
The neighborhood is part of the Davis Joint Unified School District and is a wonderful, family-friendly environment. Residents enjoy the friendly environment and often have block parties and festive gatherings.
